Filmmaker Mohit Suri has recreated a large-scale music festival for his next film, marking the Bollywood debut of Ahaan Panday. The sequence, shot over the past week at Vrundavan Studios in Malad, features 1,000 background artistes. It portrays Panday’s character performing on stage with a lively crowd responding to his music. Aneet Padda, last seen in Big Girls Don’t Cry (2024), is also part of the scene. The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Kota has registered a case against actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff, along with the manufacturer of Vimal Pan Masala. The commission has summoned them to appear in court over allegations of misleading advertisements regarding the product’s ingredients. The case was filed by social worker and BJP leader Indramohan Singh Honey through senior advocate Vivek Nandwana. The case falls under Section 89 of the Consumer Protection Act, which addresses deceptive advertising and misleading endorsements. The complaint alleges that the celebrities, through their advertisements for Vimal Pan Masala, claimed that the product contains ‘kesar’ (saffron), which may mislead consumers, particularly the youth.
