The actor has pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry, according to Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE). Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus as the cases have increased rapidly. The 21-day lockdown has affected thousands of families. As 5 lakh workers work under FWICE, 25,000 of them were in dire need of financial support. Talking about the accident she met with a few weeks ago on the Mumbai-Pune highway, she said that she was sleeping at the back of the car because she and Javed had stayed up till early morning celebrating the latter’s birthday. Singer Sonu Nigam was forced to extend his stay in Dubai due to the coronavirus pandemic. The singer has now set up a makeshift studio at his residential area in Dubai. Talking to a tabloid, Sonu Nigam revealed that he has bought equipment to set up his studio so that he can spend his time immersed in music. He also bought a piano to polish his skills. Various film and Television bodies had mutually decided to suspend the shooting for all films and TV shows that started on March 19, 2020.
