Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife had recently filed for divorce along with the sole custody of their kids, Yanni and Shora. The couple had been going through a rough patch but it looks like things aren’t going to get better. Nawazuddin Sididiqui’s lawyer recently said that Aaliya has been sent a legal notice for defamation and slander of character. Aaliya had claimed that Nawazuddin is an uncaring father and is not supporting them financially due to the crunch. However, Nawazuddin’s lawyer Adnan says that he had sent the defamation notice within 15 days of her filing for divorce. All her statements have been debunked by Nawazuddin’s lawyer who said that all the EMIs are still being paid by Nawaz and that he is paying for all the expenses of the kids. According to them, Aaliya has stated contrary facts to tip the scale in her favour hence the slander case. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is currently under investigation. The actor, who passed away on June 14 due to suicide, was under prescribed depression medicines. While over 23 statements have been recorded till now, two former senior officials of Yash Raj Films were questioned by Mumbai Police recently. Yash Raj Films was summoned to submit contract documents after allegations were made that many of Sushant Singh Rajput’s films didn’t roll. As per the latest details, Bandra Police questioned Ashish Singh, who was former Vice President Production at YRF, and Ashish Patil, whose signatures were on the contract with Sushant Singh Rajput in 2012. Ashish Singh’s statement was recorded for five hours in which he provided details about Sushant’s contract and his association with YRF till 2015. Actor Margot Robbie will headline the next Pirates of the Caribbean film.  Birds of Prey  writer Christina Hodson has been roped in to pen the script for a new, female-fronted movie for Disney. This new project is different from the already announced reboot being created by Ted Elliott and Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin who are currently working on the story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "While plot details are being kept in Davey Jones’ locker, the project, in early development, is not intended to be a spinoff of the long-running franchise that had pirate Jack Sparrow at its center, but rather a wholly original story with new characters under the  Pirates  moniker, itself inspired by the long-running attraction at Disneyland." The singer then released a bunch of hotel receipts and email screenshots to address the sexual assault allegation claim against him which was shared on Twitter on June 20 by an anonymous user. On Thursday, June 25, pop star Justin Bieber filed a $20 million lawsuit against two women. A report on some gossip websites in the South claim that Alia Bhatt has decided to drop out of SS Rajamouli’s RRR because of the scramble for dates that is bound to occur once the lockdown is over. However sources close to Alia completely debunk this information as misleading. “Where did that come from? From someone who would like nothing better than to replace Alia in the Rajamouli film? The fact is, Alia is just waiting for the lockdown to be over to work out the dates. The story of a 15-year-old girl, Jyoti Kumari Paswan, cycling from Delhi to Darbhanga in Bihar while towing her injured father went viral in no time. The little girl cycled for almost 1,200 kilometers in a span of just a week and was lauded for her efforts. Farah Khan has offered to sponsor her education. However, the government has now laid down new guidelines when it comes to resuming shoots and Tanusri Dasgupta of Balaji Telefilms, who happens to be the Executive Vice President, spoke about how they are planning to go about it. Tanusri spoke to a portal and said that they are planning to begin shoots with smaller crews, and fewer actors in frame while maintaining social distancing. They are currently in prepping stage since they have gotten a green signal to go on floors.
