Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most-watched television shows and also happens to be one of the longest-running shows. With the recent guidelines set for shooting the shows amidst the lockdown, the actors have been asked to maintain all the possible precautionary measures required. However, three members from the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai including Sachin Tyagi, Swati Chitnis, and Samir Onkar have tested positive for Coronavirus. The other actors and crew on set were asked to undergo the test and quarantine at home. The producer Rajan Shahi confirmed that the BMC officials had sanitized and fumigated the set. However, as per the reports, lead actors Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have resumed shooting for the show. The shoot was put off for four days and the actors have returned on set except for the three actors that tested positive. At present, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor who passed away on June 14 was found hanging in his apartment. Actress Rhea Chakraborty is currently the prime accused in the case and is being investigated. Meanwhile, there have been reports doing the rounds that the actress's lawyer Satish Maneshinde is fighting her case without any charge. Smita Parikh, who is a family friend of Sushant Singh Rajput during an interview on TV, alleged that Rhea informed her that the lawyer is offering his services for free. Smita also alleged that if not Rhea then someone must be paying the lawyer's fee. Now, in an official statement, Satish clarified the matter and said, “What Rhea said in her interview was only that I didn't raise bills in her case and whatever people are saying that I approached her for this case and offered my services for free is not true. A petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court urging to postpone the media trial in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's case as it can hamper the probe. The plea which was filed on Wednesday is yet to be taken up for hearing by the high court. Reportedly, petitioners Nilesh Navlakha and two others demanded directions to news channels to limit their coverage of the probe. The petition said that the ongoing sensational reportage might hamper the probe by the CBI. It also said that the media houses have “proceeded to already convict” the accused named in the FIR. Bollywood filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar filed a complaint with Mumbai Police after he received an extortion call for Rs. 35 crore. The person who called claimed to be an alleged member of Abu Salem’s gang, as per reports. However, the police were swift to arrest the caller who turned out to be a tea seller in Mumbai. He was arrested from Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri. Deputy Commissioner of Police Akbar Pathan revealed that the accused Milind B. Tulsankar had made several threat calls to Manjrekar between August 23 to August 25. He alleged to be a part of Salem’s gang and that if Manjrekar did not follow the instructions, he would face dire consequences. In the meanwhile, Mahesh Manjrekar reportedly approached the Dadar police and the case was forwarded to Anti-Extortion Cell. T-Series asserted that Roposo has been violating its copyrighted content in a number of ways on the Roposo App including by illegally ripping/extracting copyrighted songs belonging to T-Series and several other music labels from the phones and devices of its users, especially from their Apple Music and Google Music accounts. Two days after Narcotics Control Bureau filed a case against Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, they will question 20 people in connection to the supply of drugs. NCB has worked on a list of 20 people to be questioned including Gaurav Arya, Suved Lohia, Jaya Saha, ex-Big Boss contestant Ajaz Khan, Farookh Batata, and Bakul Chandani among others. Reportedly, Arya is absconding with Akshit Shetty. According to the reports, Ajaz Khan was arrested by Navi Mumbai Police in connection with drugs for in October 2018. Bakul Chandani was allegedly arrested for cocaine and LSD in December 2018 by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police. Narcotics Control Bureau registered a case under Sections 20 (b) 28, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Jaya Saha, Sushant's co-manager Shruti Modi, and Gaurav Arya.
