If sources are to be believed Sunny Deol is planning a family film with his brother Bobby and son Karan which Sunny will produce and direct under the family banner Vijeta Films. It may be noted that Sunny’s son Karan’s career did not take off after his debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas , released in September 2019 and refused to set the box office on flame. Sunny has since then been looking for a script that would accommodate not just his son Karan but also Sunny’s brother Bobby who has not been very lucky at the box office in recent years. Bobby’s debut on the digital platform with the recent Class Of 83 has not been well received. He also appears to be a misfit as a fake godman in Prakash Jha’s forthcoming web series Aashram . It’s time for the family to step in to salvage Bobby’s career. The shooting of  Gangubai Kathiawadi  is on full-swing at Film City where a massive set had been erected six months ago. Miraculously the set remained intact through rain and sunshine. “SLB plans to continue shooting throughout November. But all the sequences involving large crowds have been pushed to later. Right now the director is shooting scenes with Alia Bhatt and her co-star Shantanu Maheshwari,” informs a source close to the project. Apparently, there are several action scenes waiting for the director’s attention. These have been postponed until the Covid-19 situation gets better. As the film industry is getting back on its feet after a hiatus, many actors have hit the ground running and begun working in a full-fledged fashion. Earlier this month, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp announced his exit from the  Fantastic Beasts  franchise. In an elaborate statement on Instagram, the actor said that due to the current events related to the ongoing case against Amber Heard, Warner Bros asked him to resign. After being summoned by the Mumbai Police thrice, Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to cancel the FIR. On Tuesday, the High Court granted an interim protection from arrest to the siblings. The court ordered them to appear before the police on January 8 for FIR against them over alleged communal tweets. The interim protection from arrest was granted by a division bench of Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnik under the condition that Kangana and Rangoli appear before the investigating officers at the Bandra Police on January 8 between 12 pm and 2 pm for recording their statement. The court also recorded the submission by Kangana's lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee stating that the siblings would refrain from making public comments on social media posts on the subject FIR during the pendency of the matter. An FIR was registered against two officials of the streaming platform Netflix India in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through the web series ‘ A Suitable Boy ’. The series directed by Mira Nair shows kissing scenes on the premises of a temple. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that the FIR has named Monika Shergill, Vice President, Content (Netflix) and Ambika Khurana, Director, Public Policies (Netflix). The complaint was filed by Bhartaiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BYJM) national secretary Gaurav Tiwari who demanded apology from Netflix India and the makers of the series and removal of objectionable scenes which he stated were also "encouraging love jihad". “Kissing scenes (filmed) inside a temple of Lord Maheshwar (a historic town located on the banks of Narmada in Madhya Pradesh) have hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
