Rajesh Kumar, who played the role of Rosesh on the cult show Sarabhai VS Sarabhai recently opened up about its unofficial Pakistani remake. The producer Aatish Kapadia took to his social media a few days ago to call out the Pakistani show, Chana Jor Garam’s content which happens to be a frame-to-frame copy of their show. While Aatish Kapadia was clearly miffed at them for copying the content, actor Rajesh Kumar is also unhappy with the way that things have turned out. Rajesh spoke about it and said that they have failed to show the essence of it and have made a mockery out of their content. The show is a frame-to-frame copy of their show and it is a poor attempt according to him. They received the videos of the show on WhatsApp and were shocked needless to say. Rajesh pointed out that they have not understood the content and their humour is substandard. Rajesh signed off calling it a disaster. The prestigious Scandinavian festival Bollywood Festival Norway has decided to honour Sonu Sood with the 'Humanitarian of the year 2020' award. The award and diploma will be presented virtually to Sonu on December 30th by Mayor of Lørenskog, Oslo, Norway Ms Ragnhild Bergheim. Festival Director of Bollywood Festival Norway Nasrullah Qureshi while exclusively speaking to Bollywood Hungama had this to say, "Sonu Sood has been working selflessly for the cause of the whole humanity and that too at an extremely tough time. It has been months since the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The actor was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Recently, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh demanded that CBI reveal the findings of its probe. Now, actor Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer has backed the Home Minister’s statement. “I welcome the Statement of Shri Anil Deshmukh, HM Govt of Maharashtra calling for the CBI to make the report public in the case of Death of Sushant Singh Rajput,” Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in his statement. “A hue and cry was made when the Mumbai Police took about 2 months into the investigations and the report remained to be made public. Popular South star Rashmika Mandanna is entering Bollywood next year. The actress will make her Hindi film debut with Mission Majnu  starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The announcement of the film was made on December 23. Following her debut, the actress has signed her second Bollywood film. She will be starring alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming Vikas Bahl directorial, tentatively titled Deadly . According to the reports, the project will go on floors in March 2021. It will be a start-to-finish schedule for the team. The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Reliance Entertainment. The shooting of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starrer Blind has commenced in Glasgow in Scotland. The action-thriller directed by Shome Makhija narrates the story of a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. The film promises to be an edge-of-the-seat crime thriller. The film also features actors Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lilette Dubey. The film will be wrapped up in a single schedule and will be released in 2021. Blind will mark the directorial debut of Shome Makhija who has previously worked as an assistant on films like Badla, Kahaani 2, Three and I, Me Aur Main . Blind is being produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishke Ghosh, Manish W, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim. Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the film The Zoya Factor that was released in 2019. Actress Parineeti Chopra is reuniting with The Girl On The Train remake director Ribhu Dasgupta for an upcoming action thriller. She is set to play an undercover agent in this story of a covert rescue operation of Indian agents. The film also stars Rajit Kapur, Kay Kay Menon, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Hardy Sandhu, among others. As per reports, the yet-untitled film won’t have an India-Pakistan backdrop. Parineeti Chopra plays an undercover agent in this story and she will be leading the operation. The film is also about revenge and her personal journey. The plan is to take the project on the floor in March 2021. The makers are currently working on getting permission for shooting locations under the COVID-19 guidelines. Birthday boy Salman Khan is making sure that his fans do not break COVID-19 rules by aggregating in front of his home Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (Mumbai). A notice to the effect has been pasted on his home-front. The notice requests his fans to not crowd his apartment on his birthday tomorrow. December 27. Bollywood Hungama was first to reveal around two weeks back that Akshay Kumar had been approached to play the Hindu king, Suheldev in Ashwin Varde’s upcoming production. The film, an epic, was said to be an adaptation of Amish’s novel, Legend of Suheldev. We have now learnt that Akshay Kumar has refused to come on board. “Ashwin flew down to Delhi in the first week of December to meet Akshay Kumar and had a detailed talk about his plans to make this film on a humongous scale. However, eventually, the actor felt that the script needed a lot of rework. After having discussions with Ashwin, he decided to take a backseat from the film as he was not on the same page with the stakeholders creatively. Apart from that, even dates were an issue as Akshay is blocked for the next 2 years and Ashwin and co were looking to start the film sometime next year, demanding over 70 days from Akshay. Arjun Rampal was recently questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) for the second time in connection with a raid at his residence where they found banned tablets. The raid was conducted in November, post which he was interrogated. The actor had also submitted a prescription for the banned tablets. Reportedly, the drug agency found Arjun Rampal's brother-in-law Agisilaos Demetriades talking to someone by the name Arjun on WhatsApp and assumed it's the actor. During his investigation, Rampal told the agency that one of the tablets is for his dog, prescribed by a vet and the second is used as an SOS for anxiety by his sister, as prescribed by a Delhi-based psychiatrist. The UK Government has imposed a strict lockdown in the country after a new, potentially more infectious strain of COVID-19 was detected in the UK.
