Nominations for the Asia Content Awards were recently announced, and Ali Fazal bags the nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ispit Nair in Forget Me Not,  one of the four films in the Ray anthology on Netflix. Directed by Srijith Mukherji, the story is a modern interpretation of Satyajit Ray’s story ‘Bipin Chaudhary Ka Smriti Bhram.’ Ali plays the role of a cut-throat corporate shark who never forgets anything and has a memory of a computer. After announcing the release of Sanak – Hope Under Siege on Disney+ Hotstar last week, the makers – Vipul Amrutlal Shah and ZEE Studios have now revealed the release date of the hostage drama, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia, and Chandan Roy Sanyal among others. The Aamir Khan helmed  Forrest Gump  remake  Lal Singh Chaddha  has been rescheduled. Instead of Christmas 2021 it will now be released on Valentine’s Day 2022. This is in deference to the cluster of films awaiting their turn to be released after theatres in Maharashtra re-open on October 22. A source close to the  Lal Singh Chaddha project informs, “Aamir Khan and his co-producers Viacom 18 have voluntarily taken their film to February 2022. The Christmas week of 2021 (which is the week when Aamir traditionally releases his films) already has Kabir Khan’s ’ 83 (December 24), the Shahid Kapoor sports film  Jersey (December 31) and Rohit Shetty’s Ranveer Singh starrer  Cirkus (December 31) lined up for release. Earlier today, Bollywood Hungama had reported that Akshay Kumar is reuniting with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for director Raj Mehta's next film. The trio had last worked together for the film Good Newwz . Now, according to the latest reports, Emraan Hashmi has also joined the cast of the film. The film in question is the official Hindi remake of Prithviraj's Malayalam film Driving License (2019). In the original film, Prithviraj played a film superstar while Suraj Venjaramoodu essayed the role of a motor inspector who is a massive fan of the superstar. However, a misunderstanding leads to the two locking horns with each other and the two trying to make each other's life a living hell. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar will essay the role played by Prithviraj and Emraan Hashmi will step into the shoes of Suraj Venjaramoodu. Aanand L Rai’s upcoming directorial, Atrangi Re starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush, went on floors in Varanasi in March of last year. On Monday, Singer R. Kelly was found guilty of leading a decades-long scheme to recruit women and underage girls for sex in New York. According to the New York Times, the jury declaring him guilty of all nine counts of the racketeering and sex-trafficking charges against him. After beginning its nine hour of deliberations Friday afternoon, the jury convicted Kelly of racketeering and eight violations of an anti-sex trafficking law in federal court in Brooklyn.
