Kangana Ranaut is getting brutally trolled for taking a dig at Hrithik Roshan in her upcoming production Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur. On Wednesday, Prime Video released a video in which Nawazuddin was seen introducing himself as a Bollywood actor named Sheru who has worked with actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. He then mentions Hrithik Roshan. Nawazuddin Siddiqui says, “My name is Sheru and people lovingly call me… Sheru only. I’m a Bollywood actor. I’m a big film producer of all types of movies, small and big. See, Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir… Hrithik wasn’t available so that’s why he’s not here." Many claimed that since Kangana Ranaut is the producer of the movie, she also had a say and definitely approved the dialogue to take a dig at Hrithik Roshan. The shocking news of Aryan Khan being arrested in a drug extortion case had led to a major uproar in the Indian media, followed by a massive backlash. Actress Ameesha Patel recently surrendered at the Ranchi Civil Court in connection to a cheque bounce case. She was granted bail by the senior division judge DN Shukla and was asked to appear before the court again on June 21. The case dates back to 2018 when producer and businessman Ajay Kumar Singh accused her of not returning the money she allegedly took from him to produce a film. Ameesha has opened up on the case through a statement, which read, “I am inundated with messages from my fans and well-wishers, regarding certain matters at Ranchi. New research from YouGov commissioned by WhatsApp reveals the power of a private message, as almost three quarters of women across the world (73%) and 68% of women in India say they would open up about their struggles if a friend reached out to them in private.  WhatsApp believes everyone should have a safe space to communicate with their family and friends, and so to encourage women to check in on each other privately, has partnered with actor Anushka Sharma to launch a series of mirrored messages appearing in private spaces - women’s restrooms - in malls across Delhi. In a formal letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has expressed its demand for a ban on the screening of the movie Adipurush. The AICWA alleges that the film, based on the epic Ramayana, defames the revered figures of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman, thus hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus and followers of Sanatan Dharma. The letter states that Adipurush is a "complete disaster" that undermines the faith of devotees in Shri Ram and the Ramayana. The AICWA specifically points out the portrayal of Lord Ram and Ravan as video game characters and criticizes the dialogues that have caused offence among Indians both within the country and abroad. While the AICWA does not demand any specific action against the actors, including Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, it strongly emphasizes that they should not have been associated with a film that it deems "disgraceful" in the history of Indian cinema. Responding to the report, Cezanne Khan dismissed the allegations and referred to the woman making the accusations as "obsessed." Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has made an investment in Cartel & Bros, an alcobev (alcoholic beverage) startup aiming to import and retail a range of liquor brands in India. The startup's initial offering is Glenwalk, a blended Scotch whisky imported from Scotland. Future plans include introducing vodka, tequila, and single malt brands.  Mokksh Sani, one of the five partners of the venture and promoter of liquor retail chain Living Liquidz, revealed that the company has secured a factory lease in Scotland. The aim is to price the products affordably, making them accessible to a broader base of young consumers. Mumbai Police took swift action on Monday as they provided security to writer Manoj Muntashir, associated with the film Adipurush, after he received death threats. The protest against the movie starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon prompted concerns for Muntashir's safety. In response to the controversy, effigies of the writer were burned in various parts of the country, accompanied by demands for a ban on the film within three days. Amidst the turmoil, Mumbai Police recorded Muntashir's statement at his office, addressing his concerns and ensuring his protection. How did you bag Ghulam? Ghulam went on floors 1 ½ years before its release. I knew about it and that it has a good script. I had no idea that someday, I’ll become a part of it. The makers were looking out for a suitable actor to play Charlie. Though it had little screen time, it was a very prominent character. They had considered a lot of actors, but nothing worked. One fine day, I got a call from Mukesh ji (producer Mukesh Bhatt). Earlier, I had turned down a few of their films as I was not happy with my role or the script.
