Following the announcement of Don 3 starring Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar seems to be returning to the acting game. The actor is reportedly in talks to star in the Hindi remake of the 2013 Hollywood movie Begin Again. It will be produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and helmed by Nitya Mehra. The paperwork for the project is underway and once it is completed, the makers plan to announce it. As per a report in Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “Farhan, and Nitya in talks for a musical comedy for a while now, and things are in advanced stages of development at the moment.   It’s said to be a remake of the 2013 Hollywood classic, Begin Again, and will go on floors by the end of this year with a start-to-finish schedule. Back in October 2022, Vidyut Jammwal and Aditya Datt announced their next project Crakk - Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa which is scheduled to release in 2023. It was presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Action Hero Films & PZ Pictures, and will be jointly produced by Vidyut Jammwal, Parag Sanghvi, and Action Hero Films and is written as well as directed by Aditya Datt. They muted the word 'b*****d' at two places. A dialogue on circumcision, 'Phir se khatna karwaoonga, jitna bhi bacha hai', was deleted along with the visuals. Some modification was carried out in the dialogue 'Behen kyun de di'. Finally, an anti-smoking ad was inserted before the start of the second half and an anti-smoking ticker was placed in the smoking scenes. The censor certificate was granted on August 16.

The Delhi High Court has dismissed a plea by the production house behind Akshay Kumar starrer films, Khiladi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari, against the use of the word “Khiladi” in the title of a Telugu film. Justice Jyoti Singh said that the plaintiff, Venus Worldwide Entertainment, had failed to make out a prima facie case in its favour and that the balance of convenience also did not lie in its favour. As per a report by PTI, the plaintiff had argued that the use of the word “Khiladi” by the Telugu film would deceive and confuse the public, as it would be associated with the plaintiff’s films. However, the court found that the word “Khiladi” is a “generic word of non-distinctive character” and that there was no deceptive similarity between the two films. The court also noted that as many as 40 films and shows have been produced in various languages with the name “Khiladi” and out of those, only two were produced by the plaintiff. The auction notice for actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol's bungalow in Mumbai's Juhu locality was withdrawn due to technical reasons, the state-owned Bank Of Baroda said on Monday. The bank has said in a statement that the notice was withdrawn "as per the normal industry practice followed in other cases as well". The bank did not specify the exact quantum of dues to be recovered but said that the notice was based on a symbolic possession of the property. The bank has applied for physical possession of the property, and the matter is pending before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. Sunny Deol has told the bank that the property is in use, so the sale will be initiated as per the provisions of the SARFAESI Act, which empowers banks and financial institutions to take possession of assets/properties of credit defaulters without court intervention.
